Terms of sale

Last updated

Draft. This page hasn't been reviewed yet and may change before launch. It has 4 unfinished parts, marked TODO.

These terms cover everything you get from figmatro.com and our Figma plugins. They’re written to be read. If anything is unclear, write to [email protected].

Who we are

Figmatro is run by TODO: your legal name or company name, a TODO: sole trader / limited company, with company number based in the United Kingdom. Our address is TODO: postal address, or a service address. You can reach us at [email protected].

Who you’re buying from

How you buy depends on the product:

  • Figma plugins are sold through Figma Community. Figma takes the payment, and Figma’s own terms apply to the purchase.
  • Everything else (templates, UI kits, Claude skills and bundles) is sold through Polar, our reseller. Polar is the “merchant of record”: it’s the seller on your receipt, takes the payment, and handles tax. Polar’s buyer terms apply to the payment. These terms cover the product itself and how you can use it.

Prices and tax

Prices on the site are in US dollars. Checkout may show the price in your local currency. Prices include VAT, except in the US, Canada and India, where sales tax is added at checkout. You always see the full amount before you pay.

Getting what you bought

Everything we sell is digital. Straight after checkout you get an email with your files and any licence key, and you can download them again from the customer portal at any time. Figma plugins unlock inside Figma as soon as Figma confirms your payment.

Using what you bought

Each product comes with a licence. In short: use it in as many personal and commercial projects as you like, but don’t resell or share the files. The licence has the details.

If something isn’t right

What you buy must be as described, of satisfactory quality and fit for purpose. That’s your right under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, and nothing in these terms takes it away. On top of that, we offer refunds within 14 days. See the refund policy.

Updates

We may update products to fix bugs, keep up with Figma, or add features. Updates to something you’ve bought are free. We don’t promise to keep any product updated forever, and we’ll say clearly on its page if we stop supporting it.

Our responsibility to you

If we break these terms, we’re responsible for loss or damage you suffer that was a foreseeable result. We’re not responsible for loss that wasn’t foreseeable, or for business losses such as lost profit or lost data, when you use a product for business. Keep backups of your files.

Nothing here limits our responsibility for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else the law doesn’t let us limit.

TODO: decide whether to cap liability for business customers, for example at the price paid. A solicitor can advise.

Changes to these terms

We may change these terms from time to time. The version on this page when you buy is the one that applies to that purchase.

The law that applies

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If you’re a consumer, you can bring a claim in the courts of England and Wales, or in the part of the UK where you live. If you live in the EU, you also keep the protections of the law where you live.
